It all began with the San Francisco Trans March — often lovingly referred to as the Trans Liberation Bloc Party — which has taken place annually since 2004, held every Friday of San Francisco Pride weekend. What started as a radical call for visibility has become San Francisco’s largest transgender Pride event, and one of the largest trans gatherings
in the world.
